Resource Center Dallas' Nutrition Center/Food Pantry, founded in 1985 out of a cardboard box at the corner of Cedar Springs Rd. and Throckmorton St., is now the size of a small grocery store. It serves more than 800 clients with HIV/AIDS Monday through Thursday, allowing clients to shop for fresh produce, canned goods, frozen foods and perishables.

Food for the Nutrition Center/Food Pantry is purchased from the North Texas Food Bank, as well as through generous donations from supermarkets, restaurants, caterers and community groups. Pantry services are only available to Resource Center of Dallas clients.

Donations of canned goods or cash are always welcome and may be tax deductible.

DONATION DROPOFF HOURS:

Monday: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

Tuesday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Friday-Sunday: Closed

PANTRY HOURS OF OPERATION:

Monday: Noon - 7 p.m.

Tuesday-Thursday: Noon - 5 p.m.
